WooCommerce – How to Bulk Delete Products without Sales

In this tutorial, we will show you how to bulk delete WooCommerce products without sales.

Here are some important reasons why you may want to remove unsold products from your WooCommerce store:

• Removing unsold products can speed up your store’s performance, making it faster for customers to browse and find what they’re looking for.
• Managing fewer products simplifies inventory tracking and reduces the chances of errors. It also makes it easier to keep your store organized and up-to-date.
• By eliminating products that don’t sell, you can focus more on promoting and stocking your bestsellers. This targeted approach can increase overall sales and profitability.

Unfortunately, in a store with many products, WooCommerce does not have tools that allow you to find and remove products with no sales.

That’s why in this tutorial we will show you how to remove unsold products using WP Sheet Editor – WooCommerce Products plugin.

This plugin allows you to manage your WooCommerce products in a spreadsheet interface. You can search for products using any field as a search filter, as well as bulk edit thousands of products at once.

After installing the plugin and activating your license, you need to follow the steps below in order to bulk remove your products missing sales:

1- Open the spreadsheet

Go to WP Sheet Editor > Edit products to open the spreadsheet.

2- Search for products without sales

If you move to the “Total sales” column you will see the number of times a specific product has been purchased.

However, if you have hundreds of products, it is better to run a search filter that finds all products that have not registered any sales yet.

For this, you need to use the Search tool, which allows you to use any field as search criteria.

Once you open the search tool, you need to select these values in order to filter all products missing sales:

• Tick the Enable advanced filters checkbox.
• Field: Total sales
• Operator: =
• Value: 0
• Click on Run search.

Once you have run the search, you’ll see all the products with total sales = 0 displayed in the spreadsheet. You’ll see the active search filter above the spreadsheet as well.

As you can see in the screenshot below, we have filtered all the products with no sales at all. Now we can proceed to bulk delete these products.

3- Bulk delete WooCommerce products without sales

To remove all the products missing sales, you need to open the Bulk Edit tool. It allows you to edit any field on thousands of products at once.

Now you need to select these values in order to remove all unsold products from your WooCommerce store:

• Select the rows that you want to update: Edit all the rows from my current search
• What field do you want to edit: Status
• Select type of edit: Set value
• Replace existing value with this value: Delete completely
• Optional – You can delete only parent products or only variations. In this case, we’ll remove the products, so their variations will be removed as well.
• Click on Execute now.
