They have found some products without attributes; probably you forgot to edit that part. Therefore, you need to find them quickly in order to edit them and not continue losing sales opportunities. It’s crucial. However, if you’re trying to do that with WooCommerce, it won’t be possible to find your products missing attributes without having to open them one by one. And that’s a problem.
But please don’t worry! In this article, we’ll show you how to find and bulk edit products with empty attributes using the WP Sheet Editor Products Spreadsheet plugin.

1- Find products missing attributes
If you want to know which of your attributes don’t have a color, for example, just open the Search tool by clicking it on the toolbar.
Once there, tick the Enable advanced filters checkbox and use these values:
- Field key: Product Color (pa_color)
- Operator: =
- Value: leave this field empty
Important:
You can use these other values in Field key.
- Product Quality (pa_quality)
- Product Range (pa_range)
- Product Size (pa_size)
After that, click the Run search button.
2- Edit attributes in the spreadsheet
If you searched products missing color, just locate the Color column in the spreadsheet and edit it.
3- Bulk edit filtered attributes
To add a color to the products missing it, for example, just open the Bulk Edit tool by clicking it on the plugin’s toolbar.
Then, use these values in the Bulk Edit fields:
- Select the rows that you want to edit: Edit all the rows from my current search (even non-visible rows)
- What field do you want to edit: Product Color
- Select type of edit: Set value
- Value: Red (Product Color).
*The color selected in the value field is just an example. You decide.
Finally, hit the Execute now button.
