Want an easy way to create legal pages for your WordPress site? In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to use AI to generate privacy policies, terms and conditions, and other legal pages in minutes. This saves you from manually writing them, which can be tedious and time-consuming.
Common problems when writing legal pages
Writing legal pages for your website can be challenging. If you don’t have a legal background, you might not know what to include in a privacy policy or terms and conditions. You could spend hours researching laws and still feel unsure if your pages are correct.
Another issue is that legal language can be confusing. Many policies use complicated terms that are hard to understand, making it difficult for both you and your visitors to know what they really mean. On top of that, laws change over time. A policy that was good last year may not follow the latest rules, like GDPR or CCPA, which can put your business at risk.
You might also struggle to make your legal pages complete. It’s easy to forget important sections, leaving gaps that could cause problems. Or, if you use a generic template, it may not fully match your business, forcing you to spend extra time making adjustments.
How AI can help you generate legal pages
AI makes it much easier to create legal pages. Instead of spending hours writing and researching, you can generate a complete privacy policy or terms and conditions in seconds. AI tools follow the latest rules and help you stay compliant with laws like GDPR and CCPA.
AI can also simplify legal text, making it easier for you and your visitors to understand. Another big advantage is customization. AI can create policies that fit your business, saving you time and effort.
Important
Even though the AI simplifies the process of creating policy pages, terms and conditions, and other legal pages, it does not replace legal advice. Laws can be complex, and every business has unique needs. To make sure your policies are accurate and fully compliant, you should always have a lawyer review them before publishing them on your website.

How to generate legal pages using AI
Let’s see now how to generate legal or policy pages for your WordPress website, using generative AI.
WP Sheet Editor – AI allows you to use artificial intelligence in all WP Sheet Editor spreadsheets to edit or generate WordPress content. In this case, it will help you create legal pages with generative AI, but you can use it to improve existing posts, pages, products, custom post types, as well as create new content for any post type or field.
Let’s start by opening the WordPress pages spreadsheet by going to WP Sheet Editor > Edit pages. You’ll see all your existing WordPress pages in the spreadsheet.
Now you need to hover the mouse over the Add new tool, and click on Add rows with AI.
In this example, we will generate a privacy policy, but you can follow the same steps to generate other pages using the prompts we have shared above.
You need to select these values to generate your legal pages:
- How many rows do you want to add: We will add 1 page in this example.
- What columns do you want to autofill with the AI: We will autofill the Title and Content fields.
- Prompt: Add the prompt here, where you specify which kind of page you want to create, some formatting details, and important information about the contents it should include.
- Do you want to set default values for the other columns: In this case, we will select Enter default values and select Status.
- Default status: In this case, we will select Pending.
- Click on Create the rows and the AI will start creating your policy page.
As you can see, we have generated a privacy policy for our online store website. It’s been added in the spreadsheet.
If we click on the Edit button in the cell of the Content column, the spreadsheet will display the text editor in a popup, where you can make any changes you want before publishing your page.
This has been just an example of how easy it is to generate legal and policy pages for your WordPress website. You can use the same process to generate other types of pages, or you can refine existing pages. Here are some useful guides:
