In this tutorial, we’ll see how to hide WooCommerce products from the catalog in bulk.
Imagine this: You’re running a members-only store.
You want to exclude some products from your WooCommerce catalog for those products to be seen by your registered customers only.
Now, the problem comes when you discover that you have thousands of products to be hidden from the catalog.
That’s going to take you many hours since WooCommerce doesn’t include any option with which you can apply that change to hundreds of products with just a few clicks.

To hide your products from the catalog, you need to take these simple steps:
1- Filter your products (Optional)
If you don’t want to hide all the products from the catalog, you can filter them in different ways using the Search tool located in the plugins’ toolbar.
You can look for your products by different parameters as we show you below:
a) Search for products by keyword
If you need to hide all products that have the same keyword, you can do it easily by entering the keyword in the Search tool.
- Contains keyword: Enter the keyword.
- Click on “Run search”
b) Filter products by taxonomy
In the case that you want to hide a whole category or products that contain a specific tag or attribute, you can easily do by entering the following values into the Search tool:
- Enter Product categories, Product tags, or Product attributes: Enter any of the taxonomies you want to filter your products by.
- Click on “Run search”
c) Look for products by visibility
Now let’s say that you want to hide all products whose visibility is “featured”, in this case, you will simply enter the following values into the Search tool:
- Enter Product visibility: Enter the type of visibility by which you want to filter your products.
- Click on “Run search”
d) Find products with low sales
You may want to use the catalog to display only your best-selling products, as you know they are the products that are trending and will attract the attention of more buyers.
To filter the products with fewer sales to hide them, follow the next steps after opening the Search tool:
- Enable the advanced filters
- Field: Total sales
- Operator: <
- Value: Enter the value you consider for low sales
- Click on “Run search”
e) Filter products with low stock
Let’s say you want to hide the products of which you have few units so that they are no longer displayed in the catalog.
To do this, simply enter these values in the Search tool:
- Enable the advanced filters
- Field: Stock
- Operator: <
- Value: Enter the value you consider for low stock
- Click on “Run search”
f) Look for products by price
If you only want to show in the catalog the products of a certain price or higher, you will need to hide the products with lower prices.
This will be achieved by entering the following values in the Search tool:
- Enable the advanced filters
- Field: Regular price
- Operator: <
- Value: Enter the price
- Click on “Run search”
After running any of the searches, you will see all the results displayed in the spreadsheet.
