In a previous post, we showed you how to easily bulk edit Show Single Variations settings using a spreadsheet inside WordPress. Here, we’ll show you how to export and import visibility and other data for Iconic Show Single Variations. We’ll be able to bulk update hundreds of variations using a CSV file. You can even work offline and then import the variation data.
These are the requirements to be able to export and import Show Single Variations visibility
1- Install the WP Sheet Editor plugin. You can bulk update any field of your WooCommerce products using a spreadsheet. You can bulk edit Show Single Variations data.

2- Install the WP Sheet Editor – Iconic Show Single Variations extension. With this extension, WP Sheet Editor and Show Single Variations by Iconic will be fully compatible.
Once you install and activate the plugin and the extension, follow the simple steps in the sections below to export or import Show Single Variations data for your WooCommerce product variations.
First, go to WP Sheet Editor > Edit Products to open the products spreadsheet. You’ll see each product as a row and each field as a column on the products table.
1- How to export Show Single Variations visibility to a CSV
WP Sheet Editor allows you to export your WooCommerce product to a CSV file. You can export all the product columns or only the columns you want; for example, the Show Single Variations fields only.
First, you need to search for all the variations in order to export them.
Open the Search tool.
Now, tick the Search on variations checkbox and hit Run Search.
This will filter all the variable products and display their variations next to the main products.
You can see the search filters you applied above the spreadsheet.
Now you’re ready to export the product variations and the Show Single Variations data to edit with Excel, Google Sheets, or any other spreadsheet editor software.
Open the Export tool.
Now you need to select these values to configure the export.
- What columns do you want to export: Select the following columns:
- Name
- SSV: Show in Search Results
- SSV: Show in Catalog
- SSV: Show in Filtered Results
- SSV: Listings Only
- SSV: Disable Add to Cart
- Tick the I understand it will export all the rows from my current search checkbox.
- What app will you use to edit this file: Select the app you’ll use: Excel, Google Sheets, etc.
- Name of this export: You can name this export to export the same data in future sessions.
- Click Start new export.
The CSV file will be downloaded to your computer and you can open it using the software you selected. This is how our CSV file looks in Google Sheets.
If you want to disable add to cart, show variations in the catalog, show them in listings only, show variations in search results, etc., you need these values:
- Enable: 1
- Disable: 0 or empty
2- How to import Show Single Variations data from a CSV
Once you edit the CSV file to enable or disable the Show Single Variations visibility, you can easily import the variations data and quickly bulk update your product variations.
Open the Import tool.
Now you need to select the CSV file you’ll import:
- Source: CSV file from my computer
- CSV File: Click Choose File and select the file from your computer.
- Click Next.
Next, click Import all the columns.
After that, configure the import with these values:
- Do you want to update or create items: Create new items and update existing items
- CSV Field: record_id
- WordPress Field: ID
- Click Next.
Finally, you’ll see a preview of how the Show Single Variations data will look once imported. If everything is OK, click The preview is fine, start import.
After that, your variations will be imported. You can see that the Show Single Variations settings have been updated with the values you imported.
Exporting and importing Show Single Variations data is really simple!
WP Sheet Editor allows you to easily export your product variations to a CSV file. You don’t have to export all the columns; you can export the Show Single Variations only. You can enable or disable the Show Single Variations visibility and other settings using Excel or Google Sheets.
Once you edit the Show Single Variations visibility, you can import the data to bulk update your variations with a few clicks. It’s really simple!
