The first thing you need to do in order to import users from Google Sheets to WordPress is prepare the Google spreadsheet you want to import.
You need to add the necessary information for each user.
Important:
- The Google Sheets Sync service will only accept importing Google Sheets files that have been generated with the service itself.
- Therefore, you will need to first export even one user and then add the information in that file.

- We also do not store your Google Sheets files on our servers.

Having the Google Sheets file we want to import ready, we can now proceed to import it into WordPress by following these steps:

Select Google Sheets in the Source drop-down.
Now select the file in the Google Sheet file field. As we have explained, only Google Sheet files generated with the Google Sheets Sync service will be read here.
If you don’t find the file you want to import, you can click on the refresh button.
Once you have selected the file, click on Next.
Third, select the columns you want to import.
WP Sheet Editor allows two options here:
- Import all the columns
- Select individual columns to import
Fourth, you need to select how you want to import the data.
In this case, we will Create new items and update existing items.
Since we will import existing items, we can match the existing rows by ID.
Now click on Next.
Fifth, click on The preview is fine, start import if everything looks OK.
Once the process is complete, you’ll see the details of how many items were processed and, in this case, how many items were updated and how many items were created.
