LearnPress – How to Bulk Edit Course Prices

In this post, we show you how to bulk edit LearnPress course prices.

This is very useful when you want to lower or raise the prices of hundreds of products and don’t want to spend too much time doing it.

Normally, we would have to do this manually on WordPress. It would be a repetitive process of opening a course, change the price, saving the changes, opening another course… That sounds very boring and tedious.

That’s why in this post we’ll show you how to do it in three simple steps and with a few clicks. And the best thing is that this will not be a repetitive process because you will apply the same price to all the courses you select.

We’ll do it using the WP Sheet Editor plugin.

Once you install and activate WP Sheet Editor, follow these simple steps to bulk edit LearnPress course prices.

1- Set up the LearnPress courses spreadsheet

• Go to WP Sheet Editor > Setup Spreadsheet.
• Select the Courses post type.
• Click Save to go on.

Select the columns to display in the spreadsheet.

• In Enabled, you’ll see all the columns to be displayed in the spreadsheet.
• In Disabled, you’ll see the columns that will be hidden in the spreadsheet.
• Scroll down and click Save to generate the spreadsheet.

You’ll see the spreadsheet containing all your LearnPress courses. Each row is a course and each column is a field.

2- Change LearnPress course prices manually

Once you are in the spreadsheet containing the LearnPress courses, you can proceed to change the prices of each course individually directly in the Lp price column, just as if you were doing it from Excel or Google Sheets.

Once you’re done updating the prices, save the changes.

3- Search for all the courses you’ll update

a) How to look for LearnPress course prices by keyword

In this example, we’ll search for all the LearnPress courses by the keyword “fashion”.

To do this, we’ll open the Search tool located in the toolbar.

After you open the Search tool, you need to select the following values in order to search for all the courses by keyword.

• Contains Keyword: Fashion
• Click Run Search.

Once these search parameters are applied to all the courses, only the courses that contain the keyword “fashion” will be displayed in the spreadsheet.

b) How to search for LearnPress course prices by category

Now we’ll search for all the LearnPress courses by the category “beginners”.

To filter all the LearnPress courses under this category, start by opening the Search tool with one click.

Once you open the Search tool, you need to select the following values in order to search for all the courses by category.

• Enter Course Categories, or Course Tags: Beginners
• Click Run Search.

4- Bulk edit LearnPress course prices

Once you’ve filtered the courses priced at $10.00, open the Bulk Edit with one click.

Once you open the Bulk Edit tool, select these values to bulk change course prices.

• Select the rows that you want to update: Edit all the rows from my current search (including non-visible rows)
• What field do you want to edit: Lp Price
• Select type of edit: Set value
• Replace existing value with this value: 15.00 for example. Here you enter the new price to assign to all the selected courses.
• Click Execute Now.

With these simple values, you’ll have modified the price for all the selected courses.

That’s really easy!
