How to Bulk Hide WooCommerce Prices and Disable Add to Cart

To bulk hide WooCommerce prices, disable Add to Cart, or set Inquire Us links and text across many products at once, install the Remove Add to Cart WooCommerce plugin together with the WP Sheet Editor – WooCommerce Products plugin. WP Sheet Editor turns all four fields the plugin creates into editable spreadsheet columns, so you can either edit them directly in the grid after filtering by category, tag, or attribute, or export them to a CSV file, edit them in bulk in Excel or Google Sheets, and import the changes back in one pass.

Quick Summary

What the Remove Add to Cart WooCommerce Plugin Adds to Your Products

The Remove Add to Cart WooCommerce plugin is built for wholesale stores and WooCommerce catalog mode sites, where you need to replace the standard purchase button with an inquiry button, or hide pricing entirely from certain products. Once activated, it adds four custom fields to every product:

  • Disable Add to Cart: removes the Add to Cart button from the product page and shop listings.
  • Inquire Us Link: the URL customers are sent to instead, usually a contact form or quote request page.
  • Hide Price: removes the price from the shop catalog and product page.
  • Inquire Us Text: the custom label shown on the button in place of “Add to Cart.”

Editing these fields one product at a time works fine for a handful of items. It becomes unmanageable once you’re dealing with hundreds of products, an entire category, or a full wholesale catalog.

Why Bulk Edit These Fields With WP Sheet Editor

The WP Sheet Editor – WooCommerce Products plugin adds an intuitive spreadsheet directly inside WordPress, where every row is a product and every column is a field, including the four custom fields created by Remove Add to Cart WooCommerce. From that spreadsheet you can:

  • View and edit all your WooCommerce products on a single screen.
  • Search for products by keyword, category, tag, attribute, price, date, and more.
  • Bulk edit hundreds of products in a few clicks.
  • Export products to a CSV file for offline editing, then import the changes back.

Method 1: Edit Fields Directly in the Spreadsheet

This method is fastest when you’re updating one field, like Hide Price or Disable Add to Cart, across a group of products that share a category, tag, or attribute. The video below walks through the full process from opening the spreadsheet to running the bulk edit.

Step 1: Open the WooCommerce Products Spreadsheet

Go to WP Sheet Editor > Edit Products. You’ll see all your WooCommerce products displayed as rows.

Scroll right and you’ll find the four columns created by Remove Add to Cart WooCommerce: Wpiudacb Disable Add to Cart, Wpiudacb Inquire Us Link, Wpiudacb Hide Price, and Wpiudacb Inquire Us Text. Ignoring the “wpiudacb” prefix, each column name tells you what it controls.

You can tick the checkbox in the Hide Price column, or fill in a value in the Inquire Us Link or Inquire Us Text columns, for individual products and save once. That already saves time compared to opening each product’s edit screen.

Step 2: Filter Products by Category, Tag, Attribute, or Keyword

If you want to edit every product in the store, skip this step and go straight to Step 3. To edit a specific subset, open Search from the toolbar.

The Search panel lets you filter by category, tag, attribute, or shipping class:

  • Contains Keyword: finds products with that keyword in the title.
  • Enter Tags: finds products matching a category, attribute, tag, or shipping class.
  • Search on variations: filters product variations instead of main products.
  • Run search: filters and displays the matching products in the spreadsheet.

For example, to filter every product in the Women category, enter “Women” in the Enter Tags field and click Run search.

The spreadsheet updates to show only the matching products.

Step 3: Apply the Change With Bulk Edit

Open the Bulk Edit tool.

Configure the values. This example hides the price for every filtered product, but you can point the same settings at Disable Add to Cart, Inquire Us Link, or Inquire Us Text instead:

  • Select the rows you want to update: Edit all the rows from my current search.
  • What field do you want to edit: Wpiudacb Hide Price (swap for any of the other three fields as needed).
  • Select type of edit: Set value.
  • Replace existing value with this value: Yes.
  • Click Execute Now.

Every product in the filtered search now has the change applied.

Method 2: Export, Edit in Excel or Google Sheets, and Import Back

This method is better when the values you’re setting are different for every product, like unique Inquire Us links per region or custom button text per category, or when you want to hand the editing task to a team member who doesn’t have WordPress access.

Step 1: Open the WooCommerce Products Spreadsheet

Go to WP Sheet Editor > Edit Products. Each row represents a product, each column represents a field, and you can edit cells directly or export them for offline editing.

Step 2: Export the Fields to a CSV File

Click Export on the top toolbar.

Export tool icon on the WP Sheet Editor toolbar

In the export popup, select only the columns you need so the file stays focused on this task:

  • What columns do you want to export: ID, Name, Wpiudacb Disable Add to Cart, Wpiudacb Inquire Us Link, Wpiudacb Hide Price, Wpiudacb Inquire Us Text.
  • I understand it will export all the rows from my current search: tick this checkbox.
  • What app will you use to edit this file: Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Name of this export: optional, useful if you’ll repeat this export regularly.
  • Click Start New Export.

Step 3: Edit the CSV File in Excel or Google Sheets

Open the downloaded CSV in Excel, Google Sheets, or your preferred editor. Use drag-to-fill or copy-paste to set the Inquire Us link, custom button text, and the other fields across as many rows as you need, then save the file.

Step 4: Import the Changes Back to WooCommerce

This video covers the full import process, from selecting the file to confirming the preview.

Click Import on the top toolbar.

Select the edited file:

  • Source: CSV file from my computer.
  • CSV file: choose the edited file.
  • Click Next.

Click Import all the columns.

Import all the columns button in the WP Sheet Editor import wizard

Configure the matching settings:

  • Do you want to update or create items: Update existing items, ignore new items.
  • CSV Field: record_id.
  • WordPress Field: ID.
  • Click Next.

Which Method Should You Use?

Situation Recommended Method
Same value applied to a whole category, tag, or attribute Method 1: in-spreadsheet Search + Bulk Edit
Different link or text needed per product Method 2: export, edit, import
A teammate without WordPress access needs to do the editing Method 2: export, edit, import
You want the change live in under a minute Method 1: in-spreadsheet Search + Bulk Edit
You want a backup copy of the current field values before editing Method 2: export, edit, import

Common Use Cases

  • Wholesale stores: disable Add to Cart and hide pricing for an entire product line, so buyers submit an inquiry instead of checking out directly.
  • Catalog mode sites: hide prices across categories that aren’t for sale yet, while keeping the rest of the store fully purchasable.
  • Region-specific inquiries: set a different Inquire Us link per attribute, for example routing size or color variations to different regional contact forms.
  • Seasonal price hiding: hide prices by tag ahead of a relaunch, then bulk-clear the field once pricing is finalized.

FAQ

What does the Remove Add to Cart WooCommerce plugin do?

It replaces the standard Add to Cart button with a custom inquiry button and link, and can hide the product price from the shop catalog and product page. It’s commonly used by wholesale stores and catalog mode websites.

Can I hide prices for only some products?

Yes. Filter products by category, tag, attribute, or keyword in WP Sheet Editor, then run Bulk Edit on the Hide Price field for just that filtered group. Products outside the filter are untouched.

Do I need coding knowledge to bulk edit these fields?

No. Both methods use point-and-click tools inside WordPress, or standard spreadsheet editing in Excel or Google Sheets. No code is involved.

Can a team member without WordPress access do this?

Yes. Export the fields to a CSV file, send it to them, and let them edit it in Excel or Google Sheets. Once you get the file back, import it to push the changes live. They never need to log into WordPress.

Does this work with product variations?

Yes. Enable the “Search on variations” option in the search panel to filter and edit variations instead of main products.

What happens if I only want to hide the price but keep Add to Cart active?

Edit only the Wpiudacb Hide Price field and leave Wpiudacb Disable Add to Cart untouched. The two fields are independent, so you can combine them however your store needs.

Can I undo a bulk change?

Run the same Bulk Edit or import process again with the opposite value to reverse a change. Exporting a CSV backup of the current field values before making bulk changes gives you an easy way to restore the previous state if needed.

Do I need the paid version of Remove Add to Cart WooCommerce?

The plugin itself is free on WordPress.org. WP Sheet Editor – WooCommerce Products is the paid plugin that adds the spreadsheet, search, bulk edit, export, and import tools used in this guide.
