Maybe you have created a “Label” attribute, and you want to assign all the Nike shirts to a specific vendor. Whatever the situation, assigning specific products to vendors is really simple with the WP Sheet Editor – WooCommerce Products plugin.
It displays all your products in a spreadsheet where you can view and edit your products easily. You can search for products using any field and value and edit all the search results easily.

Once you install and activate the plugin, you can follow these simple steps:
1- Open the products spreadsheet
To view and manage your WooCommerce products in the spreadsheet, go to WP Sheet Editor > Edit Products. You’ll see all the products from your store displayed in an intuitive spreadsheet. Every row is a product and every column is a field.
Note. You can sort the columns as you wish using the Columns manager on the top toolbar.
2- Optional: Assign specific products to vendors in the spreadsheet
Just as you edit an Excel or Google Sheets document, you can assign products to vendors by editing the content in the Vendor column.
Here you need to enter the vendor’s username. And as soon as you start typing the vendor’s username, the plugin will suggest names from your user database.
Once you enter all the vendors, click Save to apply the changes.
Tips:
- You can auto-fill the cells below, just as you do in Excel or Google Sheets.
- You can copy and paste content between cells.
3- Assign products to vendors by keyword, attribute, category, etc.
Besides easily editing the products manually in the spreadsheet, you can bulk assign WooCommerce products to vendors.
WP Sheet Editor – WooCommerce Products allows you to filter the products by keyword, attribute, category, tag, etc. Once you filter the products, you can edit all the search results.
This can be really useful if you want to assign all the products from a specific category to a specific vendor.
You need to start by opening the Search tool to filter your products.
Once you open the Search tool, you’ll see the following search field that you can use to filter your products by keyword, category, attribute, tag, etc.
- Contains keyword: Enter any word and the plugin will filter all the products containing it in the title.
- Enter Product type, Product visibility, Product categories, Product tags, Product shipping classes, or Product attributes: This field works with all these parameters. You can enter any term or combined terms.
- Once you enter the search terms, click Run Search.
For example, we’ve filtered the products from the Men category, so all of them have been displayed in the spreadsheet, and you can see the applied filters highlighted above the spreadsheet.
Once filtered, you need to open the Bulk Edit tool to assign all of them to a specific vendor.
Now you just need to select the following values to assign all the filtered WooCommerce products to specific vendors:
- Select the rows that you want to update: Edit all the rows from my current search (including non-visible rows)
- What field do you want to edit: Vendor
- Select type of edit: Set value
- Replace existing value with this value: Enter the username of the vendor here.
- Select Edit only parent products.
- Click Execute Now.
4- Assign products to vendors by date range
Now let’s see how you can assign all the products from a date range to the same vendor.
First, you’ll have to open the Search tool.
Once open, you’ll follow these simple steps:
- Tick the Enable advanced filters checkbox
- Date range from: Enter the initial date
- To: Enter the final date
- Run search
After all products have been filtered by date range, you can open the Bulk edit tool.
After opening the tool, select the following values:
- Select the rows that you want to update: Edit all the rows from my current search (including non-visible rows)
- What field do you want to edit: Vendor
- Select type of edit: Set value
- Replace existing value with this value: Enter the username of the vendor here.
