The YITH WooCommerce Name Your Price plugin lets customers decide how much they want to pay for a product. Instead of displaying a fixed price, it hides the product price and shows a Name Your Price input field on the product page.
Enabling this feature on a single product is straightforward: open the product in wp-admin > Products, then tick the Name Your Price checkbox in the Product Data section. That works fine for a handful of products, but it becomes impractical when you need to enable the option across an entire category, a filtered set of products, or hundreds of items at once.
In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to bulk enable the Name Your Price feature for hundreds of WooCommerce products at once. You’ll filter products by keyword, category, attribute, tag, shipping class, price, or date, then apply the change to all matching results in a single operation.
To do this, we’ll use the WP Sheet Editor – WooCommerce Products plugin, which gives you a spreadsheet interface inside your WordPress dashboard for viewing, filtering, and editing products in bulk.
WP Sheet Editor – WooCommerce Products
The plugin replaces the default WooCommerce product editor with a spreadsheet that lets you:
- View and edit all WooCommerce products in a single grid
- Apply changes to hundreds of products at the same time using the Bulk Edit tool
- Filter products by keyword, category, tag, attribute, price, date, shipping class, and more
- Import products from Excel, Google Sheets, or CSV files
- Export your product catalog to a CSV file

Once you have the plugin installed and activated, follow the steps below to bulk enable the Name Your Price option.
Step 1. Open the Products Spreadsheet
Go to WP Sheet Editor > Edit Products in your WordPress dashboard. The spreadsheet will load all your products as rows, with each product field displayed as a column.
Scroll right in the spreadsheet to locate the Name Your Price column. This column corresponds directly to the Name Your Price checkbox found in the WooCommerce product editor.
If you only need to enable the option on a small number of specific products, you can click directly on each checkbox in the Name Your Price column and then click Save. For larger selections, continue with the steps below to use the Search and Bulk Edit tools.
Step 2. Filter the Products You Want to Edit
Before applying the bulk change, use the Search tool to filter down to exactly the products you want to update. Click Search on the top toolbar to open the tool.
The Search tool provides the following filter options:
- Contains keyword: Filters products whose title contains the keyword you enter.
- Enter Tags: Accepts categories, attributes, tags, and shipping classes. The plugin will filter all products assigned to whatever value you enter here.
- Search on variations: When ticked, the plugin filters product variations instead of parent products.
- Enable advanced filters: Unlocks additional filter conditions. For example, you can filter products where Regular Price is less than or equal to a specific value.
You can use any of these filters individually or combine them. In this example, we’ll filter for all men’s shoes priced at $200 or less using the following settings:
- Contains Keyword: Shoes
- Enter Tags: Men (Product Category)
- Tick the Enable advanced filters checkbox.
- Field: Regular Price
- Operator: <=
- Value: 200
- Click Run search.
The spreadsheet will reload and display only the products that match your search criteria.
Important: Take a moment to review the filtered results before proceeding. The bulk edit in the next step will apply to every product currently shown in the spreadsheet.
Step 3. Bulk Enable the Name Your Price Option
With your filtered products loaded in the spreadsheet, click the Bulk Edit button on the top toolbar to open the bulk editing panel.
Configure the following settings in the Bulk Edit tool:
- Select the rows that you want to update: Edit all the rows from my current search
- What field do you want to edit: Is Name Your Price
- Select type of edit: Set value
- Replace existing value with this value: Tick this checkbox.
- Click Execute Now.
The plugin will apply the change to all products in your current search. Once the operation completes, the Name Your Price column will show the checkbox as ticked for every updated product.
Important: To disable the Name Your Price option in bulk, follow the same steps but leave the checkbox in the Bulk Edit tool unticked when setting the value. The same process applies whether you are enabling or disabling the feature.
Conclusion
Bulk enabling the Name Your Price feature in WooCommerce is a three-step process with WP Sheet Editor – WooCommerce Products: open the products spreadsheet, filter the products you want to update using the Search tool, then apply the change using the Bulk Edit tool. This approach works for any selection of products, whether you’re targeting a single category, a keyword, a price range, or a combination of filters.
