In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to recount taxonomy terms for WordPress categories and tags.
This is useful when you make manual changes to the taxonomy terms assigned to WordPress posts in the database.
In such cases, the number of posts associated with a term becomes out-of-sync with the actual number of posts.
Normally, you need to use PHP codes to recount terms, but if you use the WP Sheet Editor – Taxonomy Terms plugin, you can recount terms with a few clicks.
This plugin allows you to manage WordPress taxonomies using an intuitive spreadsheet.
It allows you to make advanced search, bulk edit hundreds of taxonomies and terms, and export / import taxonomies using CSV files.
