WordPress – Search Users by Date Registered

In this quick tutorial, we’ll show you how to search users by date registered and view them in a spreadsheet to apply any change to them or export them to Excel or Google Sheets.

This can be really useful when you need to:

• Give a report to your client about the users’ registration dates
• Set random passwords for all users by date registered
• Delete users registered on a specific date
• Etc.

For this we’ll use the WordPress Users Spreadsheet plugin, which displays all user profiles in a spreadsheet where you can edit any fields for thousands of profiles, search users by role, keyword, date registered, etc. You can also export or import user profiles from Excel or Google Sheets.

Once installed and activated, you need to follow these steps to search users by date registered.

Step 1. Open the users spreadsheet

To open the users spreadsheet, you need to go to WP Sheet Editor > Edit Users. You’ll see all user profiles displayed in the spreadsheet as rows and their complete information displayed as columns. Each field is displayed as a column.

Step 2. Open the “Search” tool

With the search tool, you can filter user files by email, role, date registered, billing company, shipping company, etc. You can open it by clicking Search on the toolbar.

Step 3. Search users by date registered

Searching for users by registration date is really simple. You just need to select these values in the Search tool:

• Enable advanced filters: Tick this checkbox to open the fields needed
• Field: Registration date (user_registered)
• Operator: CONTAINS
• Value: Enter the date using the AAAA-MM-DD format.
• Click Run Search to filter all users by registration date.

Once you apply these filters, all the users registered on the selected date will be displayed in the spreadsheet. Now you can export them to a CSV file or apply any change to them in bulk.
