Here’s how you can use the Bulk Edit tool to apply AI prompts across multiple rows effortlessly.
1- Select the rows you will edit
We will use the WordPress posts spreadsheet, but you can use this method in all WP Sheet Editor spreadsheets.
WP Sheet Editor allows you to bulk edit all rows, all manually selected rows, or all rows from a specific search.
You decide which selection method you’ll use. In this example, we will edit all the rows to generate SEO titles with AI.
2- Open the Bulk Edit tool
Now we need to open the Bulk Edit tool, which will allow us to run an AI prompt on hundreds or thousands of items at once.
3- Run an AI prompt on all selected rows
Now you need to select these values in the Bulk Edit tool to run an AI prompt and bulk generate or edit content:
- Select the rows that you want to update: Edit all the rows from my current search, or the option that best fits your need.
- What field do you want to edit: SEO Title, in this example.
- Select type of edit: You have some options here:
- You can select the AI Prompt option and type the prompt manually.
- You can select an AI command/prompt from your global prompts bank. In this case, we have saved a global prompt titled “SEO Title”, so we can select it.
- AI Provider: If you have configured multiple AI providers and models, you can select the one you want to carry out this task.
- Optional – If you click on Show preview, you can preview the result before saving the changes. This is great when you’re using an AI prompt, and you’re not sure about the result.
- Click on Execute Now.
With these simple steps, you can bulk edit your WordPress content using AI. This is great for generating new content or editing existing content in any field on hundreds or thousands of posts, pages, products, and custom post types.
