Bulk Reset WooCommerce Stock to 0 – NO CODE NEEDED

If you’re managing thousands of products in your WooCommerce store and want to bulk reset stock to 0, this tutorial is for you. Many store owners face this issue when they import new CSV files daily and need to clear out old stock from variable products to reflect fresh inventory. Here’s the easiest way to do it, no code or PhpMyAdmin access needed.

Doing this manually for thousands of products is overwhelming. WooCommerce doesn’t provide a quick way to mass reset stock, so store owners are stuck editing products one by one. This means wasting hours clicking, scrolling, and updating. On top of that, variable products add more complexity, making the process even more time-consuming and tedious.

Luckily, there’s a faster and easier way. You can use WP Sheet Editor – WooCommerce Products to perform bulk edits with a few clicks. It works just like a spreadsheet, so you can manage all your products in one place, search and filter them, and make massive changes instantly. You can even export to CSV, import from CSV, and duplicate products as needed.

Follow the step-by-step guide below to bulk reset WooCommerce stock to 0 and mark products as out of stock using WP Sheet Editor. This method is fast, safe, and doesn’t require any coding or database edits.

Install WP Sheet Editor – WooCommerce Products

After completing your purchase, install and activate the plugin by following these steps:

  1. Go to Plugins > Add New Plugin.
  2. Click on Upload plugin.
  3. Click on Choose file.
  4. Locate the file on your computer.
  5. Click on Install now.
  6. Click on Activate plugin.
  7. Enter your license and click on Activate License.

Open the Products spreadsheet

Go to WP Sheet Editor > Edit Products. This will open the spreadsheet view of all your WooCommerce products, including variations.

You’ll see your entire catalog displayed in a powerful, Excel-style table. This makes it incredibly easy to manage thousands of products at once. Everything is in one place, and you can scroll, filter, and edit in bulk without limitations.

Option 1 – Set stock to zero in the spreadsheet

Locate the Stock column in the spreadsheet. This column handles the stock quantity for each product or variation.

You can directly enter “0” in the cells or drag to autofill multiple cells like in Excel. The field works the same as the stock field in the normal WooCommerce product editor.

Important: Setting the stock to zero will automatically mark the products as out of stock.

Once you’ve finished making your changes, click Save to apply them.
