Let’s see how to convert WordPress posts into pages in bulk.
You don’t need any php snippet to change the post type of your WordPress posts or pages.

1- Convert posts into pages
Go to WP Sheet Editor > Edit posts.
To turn your posts into pages, you need to open the Bulk Edit.
With this tool, you can apply changes in bulks quickly.
Now, select the I want to search rows to update in the Select the rows that you want to update field.
This will open the fields you need to filter your posts.
Now you have some options.
- Contains keyword: Use this to search all the posts containing a specific keyword.
- Status: You can search the published or the draft
- Author: Enter an author’s name.
- Categories, tags, formats: Use this field to search your posts in those three ways.
After choosing your search method, just hit the Run search button, and your posts will be filtered and displayed in the spreadsheet.
After that, use these values in the Bulk Edit tool to change your posts into pages:
- What field do you want to edit: Status
- Select type of edit: Set value
- Replace existing value with this value: select Page
Finally, just hit the Execute now button.
2- Convert pages into posts
Go to WP Sheet Editor > Edit pages.
To switch your pages into posts, you need to open the Bulk Edit.
With this tool, you can apply changes in bulks quickly.
Now, select the I want to search rows to update option in the Select the rows that you want to update field.
This will open the fields you need to filter your posts.
Now you have some options.
- Contains keyword: Use this to search all the pages containing a specific keyword.
- Status: You can search the published or the draft
- Author: Enter an author’s name.
- Parent: Use this field to search your pages by their parent.
After choosing your search method, just hit the Run search button, and your pages will be filtered and displayed in the spreadsheet.
After that, use these values in the Bulk Edit tool to transform your pages into posts:
- What field do you want to edit: Status
- Select type of edit: Set value
- Replace existing value with this value: select Post
Finally, just hit the Execute now button.
