How to Find WooCommerce Products Modified Yesterday or Any Date

If you manage a WooCommerce store, there are many situations where you need to track down products that were recently updated. For example, you might have spent hours editing inventory yesterday, only to realize that the SKUs were not updated correctly or some featured images were missed.

WooCommerce does not provide a native filter to view products based on their “last modified” date. Searching through your entire catalog manually to find the products you edited yesterday is not a practical solution, especially if you have thousands of items.

In this guide, we will show you how to find WooCommerce products modified on any specific date using a spreadsheet interface. This allows you to audit recent changes and fix mistakes efficiently.

We will use the WP Sheet Editor – WooCommerce Products Spreadsheet plugin to filter the catalog.

How to search your WooCommerce products by modification date

Once you have the WP Sheet Editor plugin installed and activated, you can bypass the standard WooCommerce product list and manage your store using a grid format.

1. Open the products spreadsheet

Go to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to WP Sheet Editor > Edit Products.

This will load your entire WooCommerce catalog into the spreadsheet interface.

3. Configure the date filter

When the Search tool opens, you can set up a query to filter the database by the exact date the products were last modified.

Follow these specific steps to configure the filter:

  • Tick the Enable advanced filters checkbox to reveal the technical search fields.
  • Field: Select Modified Date from the dropdown menu.
  • Operator: Select the = (equal) sign to find an exact date.
  • Value: Enter the specific date you want to search for.

Important Note: You must enter the date using the strict YYYY-MM-DD format (for example, 2026-05-26) so the database can read it correctly.

Once your settings match the screenshot below, click the Run search button.

Review and Edit Your Modified Products

After running the search, the spreadsheet will refresh. It will now display only the products that were modified on the exact date you specified.

From here, you can easily review the changes you made yesterday. If you need to fix a mistake, you can edit the cells directly in the spreadsheet and click Save, or use the Bulk Edit tool to apply a correction to all the filtered products at once.

Tracking down your recent work does not have to be a guessing game. By filtering your catalog by modified date, you can maintain better control over your store’s inventory updates.
