Iconic Show Single Variations – How to Bulk Edit Easily

Let’s learn how to bulk edit Iconic Show Single Variations settings using an intuitive spreadsheet for WooCommerce products inside WordPress.

2- How to manually edit show single variations settings in the spreadsheet

To update the show single variations settings in the spreadsheet, you need to be able to see the product variations. And we have a great, easy way to do that: click Display Variations.

Once you click Display Variations, you’ll see all the variations next to their parent products.

Now you need to start editing the Show Single Variations settings by ticking the checkboxes you want to enable and unticking the ones you want to disable.

Once you’re done with that, click Save.

3- How to search for variations by keyword, category, attribute, tag

In this section, we want to show you how to search for your product variations by keyword, category, attribute, or tag. Then, we’ll show you how to bulk update the show single variations visibility for all the search results. This is a great way to edit massive numbers of product variations.

Open the Search tool.

Now you’ll see the following fields you can use:

• Contains keyword – Enter any keyword and the plugin will search for all products/variations that contain it in their titles.
• Enter Product type, Product visibility, Product Categories, Product tags, Product shipping classes, or Product attributes – You can enter any of these search terms to filter your products.
• Search on variations – Yes. This will filter variations, not just simple products.
• Run Search – Click.

Now all the product variations that meet the search filters will be displayed in the spreadsheet.

You can see the search filters you applied above the spreadsheet.

Tips

• You can combine search terms to make more specific searches.
• You can disable a search filter by clicking it once the search has been completed.

4- How to bulk edit show single variations settings

Once your variations have been displayed in the spreadsheet as search results, you can bulk update them all.

However, if you don’t want to edit all the search results, you can even pick the variations you want to edit using the Checkbox picker that is in the first column.

Open the Bulk Edit tool.

Once you open the bulk edit tool, you can use any of the sections below to bulk edit show single variations visibility on the cart, search results, product listings, etc.

a) How to bulk edit show single variations visibility on the shop catalog

These are the values you need to select in the Bulk Edit tool in order to bulk edit show single variations visibility in the shop catalog.

• Select the rows that you want to update: Edit all the rows from my current search
• What field do you want to edit: SSV: Show in Catalog
• Select type of edit: Set value
• Replace existing value with this value: yes/no
• Click Execute Now.

With these simple values, you’ll have enabled or disabled the show in the catalog option.

b) How to bulk enable or disable the “Show in Filtered Results” option

You need to select these values if you want to bulk enable/disable the “Show in Filtered Results” option:

• Select the rows that you want to update: Edit all the rows from my current search
• What field do you want to edit: SSV: Show in Filtered Results
• Select type of edit: Set value
• Replace existing value with this value: yes/no
• Click Execute Now.

c) How to bulk show all selected variations in search results

Select these values to show all the selected variations in search results:

• Select the rows that you want to update: Edit all the rows from my current search
• What field do you want to edit: SSV: Show in Search Results
• Select type of edit: Set value
• Replace existing value with this value: yes
• Click Execute Now.

d) How to bulk enable the “Show Listings Only” feature

You need to select the following values in order to enable the Show Listings Only feature for all the selected variations:

• Select the rows that you want to update: Edit all the rows from my current search
• What field do you want to edit: SSV: Listings Only
• Select type of edit: Set value
• Replace existing value with this value: yes
• Click Execute Now.

e) How to bulk disable add to cart for all selected variations

If you want to disable add to cart for all the selected product variations, you need to select the following values:

• Select the rows that you want to update: Edit all the rows from my current search
• What field do you want to edit: SSV: Disable Add to Cart
• Select type of edit: Set value
• Replace existing value with this value: yes
• Click Execute Now.
