WooCommerce – How to Capitalize the Words in the Product Names

In this tutorial, you will learn a quick way to capitalize the words in the names of your WooCommerce products.

It’s really unfortunate to find WooCommerce stores that have been incorrectly prepared. For example, some stores don’t capitalize the names of their products correctly.

If you’re there, we’re sure some potential customers fly away from your store because you’ve not written “Nike” or “Adidas” correctly. You’ve written “nike shirt”, instead of “Nike Shirt”.

But don’t worry. You don’t have to lose customers anymore. We’ll show you how to capitalize the words in the product names in bulk using the WooCommerce Products Spreadsheet plugin.

It simplifies your store management by displaying them all on a spreadsheet where you can freely edit values. This spreadsheet contains a powerful bulk edit tool that allows you to edit thousands of products at once in seconds.

Once installed, open the spreadsheet by going to WP Sheet Editor > Edit Products.

Now just follow these simple steps:

1- Open the “Bulk Edit” tool

With this tool, you can edit thousands of products at once. Open it with one click on Bulk Edit; it’s on the toolbar.

2- Select the products you’ll edit

To edit all products, select “Edit all the rows from my current search (even non-visible rows)” and go to step 3.

To filter products, select “I want to search rows to update”.

This will open a Search tool with these search fields:

• Contains keyword: Search for products with a specific keyword in their titles.
• Enter Tags: Use this field to search for all products by category, attribute, tag, or shipping class. It works perfectly with these parameters.

Once you decide how to search for your products, click on Run search to filter them.

3- Capitalize the words in product titles

You need to select these values to capitalize the words in your product titles.

• What field do you want to edit: Title
• Select type of edit: Capitalize words
• Click on Execute now.

As you can see, it’s really simple to capitalize the words in your product titles. You don’t need to open the products one by one to edit them. You just need to follow some simple steps, and all your products will be edited.
