Are you looking for a quick and easy way to bulk capitalize the words in your WooCommerce product titles?
When running an online store, presentation is everything. It is really unfortunate to find WooCommerce stores that have been incorrectly formatted, with product names written in all lowercase letters.
If your catalog displays “nike running shirt” instead of the properly formatted “Nike Running Shirt”, it can make your brand look unprofessional and untrustworthy to potential buyers.
Proper capitalization increases readability, builds customer trust, improves your click-through rates, and ultimately boosts your WooCommerce SEO. But if you have hundreds or thousands of products, opening each one manually to fix the capitalization is an exhausting and time-consuming task.
Fortunately, you don’t have to lose customers or waste hours of your day. We will show you how to automatically bulk capitalize the words in your product names using the WP Sheet Editor – WooCommerce Products plugin.
This plugin simplifies your store management by displaying your entire catalog in an intuitive spreadsheet. It includes a powerful bulk edit tool that allows you to format thousands of product titles in seconds.

Step 1: Open the WooCommerce Products Spreadsheet
Once the plugin is installed and activated, you can bypass the default WooCommerce interface and manage your inventory from a single screen.
Open the spreadsheet by going to WP Sheet Editor > Edit Products.
Step 2: Select the Products You Want to Edit
Before capitalizing your titles, you need to decide which products you want to modify. WP Sheet Editor gives you flexible options to select your items.
Option 1: Select specific products manually
If you only need to fix the capitalization for a few specific items scattered across your store, you can use the checkbox selector. Simply click the checkboxes on the left side of the spreadsheet to mark specific products manually.
Option 2: Filter products using the Search tool
If you want to apply the capitalization rule to a specific category, brand, or search term, open the Search tool on the top toolbar.
Once inside the Search tool, you will see several advanced filtering options. You can search for products containing a specific keyword, or use the “Enter Brands…” field to find products by category, attribute, or tag. Once you configure your filters, click Run search to display only those products in the grid.
Step 3: Open the Bulk Edit Tool
Now that your products are selected or filtered, it is time to apply the formatting changes.
Open the Bulk Edit tool on the top toolbar. You can use this tool whether you have filtered products, selected products manually, or want to bulk edit all the products in your entire catalog.
Step 4: Bulk Capitalize Words in Product Titles
Inside the Bulk Edit popup, you need to configure the exact parameters to capitalize the first letter of every word in your product names.
Set the following values:
- Select the rows that you want to update: Choose the option that matches your selection method from Step 2 (e.g., Edit the rows that I selected manually OR Edit all the rows from my current search).
- What field do you want to update: Name
- Select type of edit: Capitalize words
- Select Edit only parent products.
- Click on Execute Now.
As you can see, it’s incredibly simple to format your store correctly. You don’t need to open your WooCommerce products one by one to edit them manually.
By using WP Sheet Editor, you can bulk capitalize the words in your product titles in seconds, ensuring your catalog looks professional and optimized for sales.
