In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to bulk enable the Name your price feature for hundreds of WooCommerce products at once.
YITH WooCommerce Name Your Price allows you to let your customers decide how much they would like to pay for the products by hiding the product prices and creating the Name Your Price field to display it in the front end. To enable that option, you need to:
- Open one product in wp-admin > Products
- Tick the Name Your Price checkbox in Product Data.
That’s great if you only have to edit five products. But what if you want to edit all the products within an entire category, or all products containing a specific keyword? You need some help.
That’s why, in this post, we show you how to bulk enable the Name your price feature for hundreds of WooCommerce products at once. You’ll be able to filter the products by keyword, attribute, tag, shipping class, price, or date. After filtering the products, you’ll activate the Name your price option for all the search results.
We’ll do it using the WooCommerce Products Spreadsheet plugin.

Use an intuitive spreadsheet inside WordPress to:
- View and edit WooCommerce products
- Edit hundreds of products at once
- Search for products by keyword, category, tag, attribute, price, date, etc.

Once you have installed and activated the WP Sheet Editor plugin, you need to follow these simple steps to enable the “Name Your Price” option in bulk.
1- Open the products spreadsheet
To open the products’ spreadsheet, go to WP Sheet Editor > Edit Products. You’ll see the spreadsheet containing all the products as rows and their complete fields as columns.
If you right scroll in the spreadsheet, you’ll see the Name Your Price column.
Once you find the Name your price column in the spreadsheet, you can proceed to activate this feature individually directly in the spreadsheet, just click on each checkbox directly.
And save the changes when you’re done.
However, you can do it in bulk following the next steps.
2- Select the products you’ll edit
The Search tool allows you to filter the products by keyword, category, attribute, tag, price, shipping class, etc.
Open it with one click on Search.
Once you’ve opened the Search tool, you’ll see the following search options:
- Contains keyword: Enter any keyword here, and the plugin will filter all products containing it in the title.
- Enter Tags: This field works with categories, attributes, tags, shipping classes. Enter any of these, and the plugin will filter all the products containing it.
- Search on variations: If you tick this checkbox, the plugin will filter the variations only.
- Enable advanced filters: This checkbox enabled advanced search parameters. For example, to search for all products priced at $200 or less, select Regular Price >= 200.
In this example, we’ll combine several search parameters to search for all men’s shoes priced at 200 or less.
- Contains Keyword: Shoes
- Enter Tags: Men (Product Category)
- Tick the “Enable advanced filters” checkbox.
- Field: Regular Price
- Operator: <=
- Value: 200
- Click Run search.
Once you’ve applied these search parameters, all the men’s shoes priced at 200 or less will be displayed in the spreadsheet.
Important: You can use any search parameter individually or combine them, as in the example above.
3- Bulk enable the “Name Your Price” option for all the selected products
Once you’ve filtered the products, open the Bulk Edit tool with one click.
Now select these values to enable the “Name Your Price” option for all the selected products:
- Select the rows that you want to update: Edit all the rows from my current search
- What field do you want to edit: Is Name Your Price
- Select type of edit: Set value
- Replace existing value with this value: Tick this checkbox.
- Click Execute Now.
After selecting and applying these values, the “Name Your Price” option will be enabled in all the products you selected.
Important: If you want to do the opposite and disable the Name Your Price option, you just need to follow all the steps in this tutorial and pay attention to Untick the checkbox in the spreadsheet or the Bulk Edit tool.
That’s simple!
Bulk enabling the Name Your Price feature in WooCommerce is really simple with the WooCommerce Products Spreadsheet plugin.
You don’t have to open the products one by one, and you can filter the products using several search parameters.
