After installing and activating everything you need, follow these steps to schedule automatic exports to Google Sheets:
1- Open the coupons spreadsheet
You have at least two options to open the coupons spreadsheet:
- Go to Marketing > Coupons and click on the Open in a spreadsheet button
- Go to WP Sheet Editor > Edit Coupons
You’ll see all your WooCommerce coupons displayed in the spreadsheet. Every row is a coupon, and every column is a coupon field.
2- Schedule automatic coupon exports to Google Sheets
You need to open the “Export” tool with one click. It’s on the plugin’s top toolbar.
Now we want to show you the values you need to select in order to create automatic one-time exports (Option 1) or automatic recurring exports (Option 2)
Option 1 – Schedule one-time exports
Select these values to schedule an automatic one-time coupon data export to Google Sheets:
- Select the columns you want to export. You can select all active columns, all columns, or select specific columns.
- Select the rows you want to export. In this case, we will export all the rows, but you could export all search results or all manually selected rows.
- Select the Google Sheets app.
- Add a name for this scheduled job.
- Tick the Run this in the future checkbox.
- Select the date and time when you want this export to run.
- Add an email address to receive an email notification when the automatic one-time export is completed.
- Select the Run once option.
- Click on Start new export to schedule this automatic coupons export.
Option 2 – Schedule recurring exports
There are two types of recurring exports:
- Normal – This type of recurring export will process all rows and create a new Google Sheets file every time a recurring interval runs. For example, a new Google Sheet every hour. It will export both the previously exported coupons and the coupons added since the previous export.
- Recurring – This type of recurring export will process and export only the new rows that have been added since the previous recurring interval. The first export will process all the rows, but from the second export on, only new rows will be added to the same Google Sheet.
Select these values to schedule a recurring coupon data export to Google Sheets:
- Select the columns you want to export. You can select all active columns, all columns, or select specific columns.
- Select the rows you want to export. In this case, we will export all the rows, but you could export all search results or all manually selected rows.
