In this article, you’ll learn how to delete all canceled orders in just some minutes. You know. These orders are just taking some important space in our server and can cause it to overload and get stuck.
If you have thousands of canceled orders, you can’t delete them all with WooCommerce because first, you can’t select them all. Second, the server will try to delete them all at once, and maybe it’s going to have problems. You may get server errors.
Therefore, you need a better option. And that’s why we want to show you how to delete all your canceled orders in just some minutes. You can select and delete them all at once, and your server won’t have any problems because it will apply the changes in batches.
For this, you need to use the WooCommerce Orders Spreadsheet plugin. It displays all your orders on a spreadsheet where you can edit freely. Besides, you can do advanced searches and apply massive changes in seconds.
Once installed and activated, open the spreadsheet by going to Sheet Editor > Edit Orders.
Deleting all canceled orders doesn’t have to be a hard thing. You just have to follow these simple steps.
1- Open the “Bulk Edit” tool
This tool helps you filter and apply massive changes in just some seconds. You can edit order titles, dates, billing/shipping info, etc. The best thing is that you don’t need to use any PHP snippets nor spend a long time trying to edit your orders. Just some simple fields and you’ll have edited thousands of orders.
Open the tool by clicking on Bulk Edit on the toolbar.
2- Filter all your canceled orders
To filter all your canceled orders, you need to select the I want to search rows to update option in the Select the rows that you want to update dropdown. This will open a search tool where you can quickly filter your orders using several search parameters.
Now you need to select Canceled in the Status dropdown and click on Run search to filter all your canceled orders. It’s that simple!
3- Delete all canceled orders
You don’t need to apply changes one by one. Just select these values and all your canceled orders will be deleted in minutes or even seconds.
- Select the rows that you want to update: I want to search rows to update
- What field do you want to edit: Status
- Select the type of edit: Set value
- Replace existing value with this value: Delete completely
