In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to export WooCommerce product reviews to a CSV file. You can use the exported product reviews to move them to another site or to create a local site where you’ll try applying changes and new configurations.
We’ll use the WP Sheet Editor Comments Pro plugin. It allows you to view all your comments and reviews on a spreadsheet.
You can do advanced searches using any field as a search parameter and edit all the search results. Besides, you can export and import comments and reviews.

Once you install and activate the plugin, you will see the comments and reviews displayed on a spreadsheet. Every row is a comment/review and every column is a field.
Now you need to follow these simple steps to filter and export your WooCommerce product reviews.
Step 1. Open the Search tool to filter the WooCommerce product reviews
With the Search tool, you can filter your comments and reviews using any field as a search parameter. In this case, we’ll filter the comments to find the product reviews only to not export other comment types.
Step 2. Filter the WooCommerce product reviews only
Once you’re in the search tool, you need to select the following values to filter the product reviews.
- Post type: Products (product)
- Comment type: Reviews
- Hit Run search
Optional – Find only new product reviews
If you want to export only the new product reviews that were created after the last date you exported / migrated the reviews to a local site or another website, you can filter the product reviews by date.
Just enable the “Enable advanced filters” checkbox and select the following values:
- Field: Date
- Value: >
- Date: Select the date here.
Finally, click on “Run Search“.
Step 3. Open the export tool
Once your product reviews have been filtered and displayed on the spreadsheet, you need to hit Export on the top toolbar.
Step 4. Export your WooCommerce product reviews to a CSV file
In the Export tool, you need to select the following values to export the product reviews to a CSV file.
- What columns do you want to export: You need to select the columns to export. We’ll hit the Select active columns button.
- Which rows do you want to export: All the rows from my current search
- What app will you use to edit this file: Select any of the available options. You can download the product reviews to Excel, Google Sheets, or any other CSV editor.
- Name of this export: You can assign a name for this export to use the same settings in future exports.
- Hit Start new export to download the CSV containing the product reviews.

Now you can import the reviews into a new site or apply changes to them using the CSV file.
As you see, exporting product reviews to a CSV file is really effective with the WP Sheet Editor plugin for WordPress comments and reviews.
