WooCommerce – Search for Products Missing Gallery Images

Let’s see how to search for WooCommerce products missing gallery images.

Sometimes we have hundreds or thousands of products in our WooCommerce store, so managing a lot of products becomes difficult.

One of those cases where having thousands of WooCommerce products can be tedious is when you want to search for products that don’t have a photo gallery.

Maybe your client has asked you for a report of the products missing photo galleries, to ask the photographer to take the photos and then upload the photo galleries to the products.

Maybe you want to find the products without image galleries to add galleries you already have.

However, WooCommerce doesn’t allow you to search for products missing gallery images, so you can’t perform that search with WooCommerce only. You need some help!

1- Open the Spreadsheet

After installing the plugin and activating your license, you need to open the spreadsheet.

To do this, go to WP Sheet Editor > Edit products, and you’ll see a spreadsheet containing all your products with all their information.

2- Open the Search tool

The Search tool allows you to find products using any field as a search filter.

In this case, it will allow you to search for WooCommerce products without product galleries.

3- Search for WooCommerce products missing gallery images

The Search tool allows you to make combined searches.

For example, you can search for all products containing the keyword “t-shirt” that do not have product galleries.

You can search for all products that belong to the category “Clothing” and do not have a photo gallery.

And so on, you can combine your searches in different ways to make them much more specific.

In this example, however, we will focus on the values you need to select in the Search tool in order to find products without gallery.

To do this, you need to tick the Enable advanced filters checkbox and enter these values:

• Field: Product gallery
• Operator: =
• Value: Leave this field empty.
• Click on Run search.

Once you have run the search, the products missing gallery images will be filtered and displayed on the spreadsheet.

As you can see in the screenshot below, the spreadsheet shows the active search filters displayed above the products’ data.

And if you pay attention to the Product gallery column, you’ll see that the cells are empty, meaning these products don’t have photo galleries.
