WooCommerce – How to Find Products without Gallery Images

Sometimes when you add new products to your WooCommerce store, you don’t immediately add product photo galleries. It may happen because the photos were not ready at the moment of uploading the products or because you forgot it.

One way or another, with the normal WP editor it can be painful to find all products without image gallery, all products within a category, containing a specific attribute or by date range.

However, in this article we’ll show you how you can find your products without image gallery in all these ways.

1- Install WP Sheet Editor

WP Sheet Editor provides a Products Spreadsheet where you can see all the product information and you can edit freely.

2- Open the Spreadsheet

Once installed and set up, the plugin will show you a spreadsheet containing all your products with all their information.

For example you may want to find all products containing the “Smartphone” keyword without image gallery, you need to take some simple steps:

a) Click the “Search” tool

This tool allows users to filter their search to find specific products. This is something you cannot do with the normal WP editor because it only offers you very limited options to find your products. However, with the WP Sheet Editor search tool you’ll be able to find specific products with some clicks.

b) Write the keyword and enable advanced filters

To look for products by keyword you need to write it in the “Contains keyword” field.

Then you need to check the “Enable advanced filters” checkbox. This action will open the fields necessary to look for the products without image gallery.

c) Set the values for the search

To look for the products without image galleries you need to set the following values.

  • Write “_product_image_gallery” in “Field key”
  • Select “less than” operator in “Operator”
  • Write “1” in the “Value” field.

If you want to know which products within the “Clothes” category don’t have image galleries, you need to follow these simple steps:

a) Click the “Search” tool

With the WP Sheet Editor search tool you’ll be able to find specific products with some clicks. So you need to open the tool by clicking it.

b) Write the category and enable advanced filters

To look for products by category you need to write it in the “Enter product category” field.

Then you need to check the “Enable advanced filters” checkbox, which will open the fields you need to look for the products without galleries.

c) Set the values for the search

To look for the products without image galleries you need to set the following values.

  • Write “_product_image_gallery” in “Field key”
  • Select “less than” operator in “Operator”
  • Write “1” in the “Value” field.

For example you may want to find all “Large” products without galleries, so you need to follow these simple steps:

a) Click the “Search” tool

b) Write the attribute and enable advanced filters

To look for products by attribute you need to write it in the “Enter product attribute” field.

c) Set the values for the search

To look for the products without image galleries you need to set the following values.

  • Write “_product_image_gallery” in “Field key”
  • Select “less than” operator in “Operator”
  • Write “1” in the “Value” field.

If you uploaded products in the first 20 days of January this year, maybe you didn’t upload galleries to some of them and now you want to find them all. So you need to do this:

a) Click the “Search” tool

With the WP Sheet Editor search tool you’ll be able to find specific products with some clicks. So you need to open the tool by clicking it.

b) Write the product dates and enable the advanced filters

To look for products by category you need to write the dates in the “Date range from” and “to” fields. For example, look for the products from January 1 to January 20.

Then you need to check the “Enable advanced filters” checkbox, which will open the fields you need to look for the products without galleries.

c) Set the values for the search

To look for the products without image galleries you need to set the following values.

  • Write “_product_image_gallery” in “Field key”
  • Select “less than” operator in “Operator”
  • Write “1” in the “Value” field.
