In this entry, we’ll show you how to search all your orders by city, state or country. No matter if it’s billing or shipping, you’ll be able to find your orders in just some minutes and with some simple steps.
You know that sometimes we want to know where our products are being sold, or we want to find our orders in order to create good and personalized marketing campaigns. The problem is that finding our orders by country, city or state is virtually impossible with WooCommerce.
Fortunately, that doesn’t need to be impossible anymore. We’ve created the WooCommerce Orders Spreadsheet plugin. This is a great tool that displays all your orders and their complete information on a spreadsheet for you to edit info just as you would do in Excel or Google Sheets.
This plugin contains amazing tools such as Search and Bulk Edit, which allow you to quickly filter and edit thousands of orders. Also, you can export or import information from a CSV file you can edit in Excel or Google Sheets.
Once installed, go to Sheet Editor > Edit Orders to open the spreadsheet and start filtering your orders.
Now you need to open the Search tool, which will allow you to save a lot of time by filtering thousands of orders in seconds.
Once you open the Search tool, you’ll be able to find your orders in these ways:
- Billing country
- Billing state
- Billing city
- Shipping country
- Shipping state
- Shipping city
Just follow these simple steps.
1- Find orders by billing country, state, or city
You need to find all your orders by billing country, state, or city, by following some really simple steps.
The first thing you need to do is tick the Enable advanced filters checkbox. Then, you’ll have these three options
2- Find orders by shipping country, state or city
Besides filtering your orders by billing country, state or city, you can also filter them by shipping country, state or city. You just need to tick the Enable advanced filters checkbox.
Once you do that, you’ll have these three search options.
3- Export to Excel or Google Sheets
Once you filter your orders by billing or shipping country, state or city, you can quickly export them to a CSV file that you can edit with Excel or Google Sheets.
Take for example your orders filtered by billing city. To export them to a CSV, you just need to click on Export on the top toolbar.
Now, you just need to select these simple values to export your files to a CSV file.
- Click on Select all to export all the columns, or select specific columns
- Tick the I understand it will export all the posts from my current search
- OPTIONAL: Tick the I will edit this file with Microsoft Excel
- Click on Start new export to start the export process.
As you can see, it’s really simple to filter all your orders by billing or shipping country, state or city. Also, exporting your orders to a CSV file only takes two simple steps. You can use this information to create marketing campaigns or give a report to your client.
