How to Export Small WooCommerce Orders to CSV or Excel

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to export small WooCommerce orders to CSV file or Excel file. But first, what are small orders? Small orders with a low order total. Of course, defining low order total is up to every business.

Exporting low total orders is useful for analyzing low-value purchases, detecting micro-orders, identifying discount-related trends, and evaluating profitability. However, WooCommerce does not include a built-in filter to export only small orders, so store owners often have to manually scan totals one by one.

With WP Sheet Editor – WooCommerce Orders, you can filter all orders below any amount you choose (for example: under $20, under $50, or under your average order value). After filtering, you can export the results to CSV or Excel.

Why export small WooCommerce orders?

Analyzing low-value orders helps you understand important business patterns, such as:

  • Identifying customers who mostly purchase low-ticket items.
  • Detecting coupon abuse or discount-driven micro-orders.
  • Evaluating shipping costs vs. revenue on small orders.
  • Analyzing entry-level product performance.
  • Reporting small sales to accounting or management.
  • Understanding profitability of low-value purchases.

Exporting only the small orders gives you clear insight into underperforming segments or orders that generate minimal revenue.

Step 1. Open the WooCommerce Orders spreadsheet

After installing WP Sheet Editor – WooCommerce Orders and activating your license, go to WP Sheet Editor → Edit orders.

The spreadsheet will load your WooCommerce orders, including totals, products, customer data, line items, payment method, and other order metadata.

Step 3. Filter WooCommerce orders below a specific amount

You can define “small order” however you want. For example, orders under $20, under $50, or under your store’s average order value. In this example, we will search for orders under $50.

Once you’re in the Search tool, select these values to filter all your small orders:

  • Tick the Enable advanced filters checkbox.
  • Field: Order total
  • Operator: Less than (<)
  • Value: Enter your target amount (for example: 50 ).
  • Click Run search.

The spreadsheet will now show only orders with a total below the number you entered. You can sort or review the list to identify patterns or combine additional conditions.

Optional: Combine filters for more advanced reports

  • Status | = | completed
  • Payment method | = | Stripe or PayPal
  • Billing country | = | US or any specific country

Combining filters helps you isolate small orders that meet specific criteria, such as small holiday orders, small subscription orders, or low-value international purchases.

Step 4. Export the small WooCommerce orders

After filtering the WooCommerce small orders, you can proceed to export them to a CSV file or Excel file.

To do this, you need to click the Export button.
