Let’s see how to duplicate HivePress listings using an intuitive spreadsheet on WordPress. Duplicating HivePress listings allows you to save time in some cases. For example, if you want to create multiple listings with just a few changes like different conditions, locations, prices, etc.
The great thing is that WP Sheet Editor – Post Types allows you to both create the duplicates and edit them in spreadsheet format. So when you duplicate, you won’t have to open and edit each duplicate because you can use the spreadsheet.

What you need to duplicate HivePress listings
In order to create duplicate HivePress listings, you need to install the following elements.
Note: We assume you already have the HivePress plugin installed and active on your WordPress website.
Install WP Sheet Editor – Post Types
You need to install and activate the WP Sheet Editor – Post Types plugin, which allows you to view and manage HivePress listings, as well as posts, pages and other custom post types, using spreadsheets on WordPress.

After completing the payment process, you need to install and activate the WP Sheet Editor – Post Types plugin on your website. Just follow these steps:
- Go to Plugins > Add New Plugin.
- Click on Upload plugin.
- Click on Choose file.
- Locate the file on your computer.
- Click on Install now.
- Click on Activate plugin.
- Enter your license and click on Activate License.
Install the “WP Sheet Editor – HivePress” extension
We have created a free extension that will add full compatibility between WP Sheet Editor and HivePress.
You need to download and install the extension on your WordPress website:
- Go to Plugins > Add New Plugin.
- Click on Upload plugin.
- Click on Choose file.
- Locate the file on your computer.
- Click on Install now.
- Click on Activate plugin.
Set up the HivePress Listings spreadsheet
After installing and activating the plugin on your WordPress site, you need to generate the spreadsheet you are going to use.
In this case, we are going to use the HivePress Listings spreadsheet, so we need to generate it:
- Go to WP Sheet Editor > Setup spreadsheet.
- Tick the Listings post type.
- Click on Save.
Now you will see the available columns, and you have to decide which columns you want to see/use in the spreadsheet and which columns you want to disable/hide.
You just need to drag the columns to the left or right side to enable/disable them.
Once you’re done, click on Save.
You will see all your listings displayed in the spreadsheet. Each row is a listing and each column is a field.
Duplicate HivePress listings
WP Sheet Editor contains a tool that allows you to duplicate your HivePress listings to create hundreds of copies out of one listing.
You need to start by opening the Duplicate tool.
Now you need to select these values to duplicate your listings:
- Duplicate this item: You can select one or more listings to duplicate them. We will select 3 listings for this example.
- How many copies do you want: Here you need to add the number of copies you want to create of each. We will create 3 copies of each selected listing.
- Click on Execute.
As you can see below, we have created three copies for each selected listing. Now you can start editing the listings using the spreadsheet or the bulk edit tool.
Optional – How to bulk delete duplicate listings
WP Sheet Editor allows you to bulk delete duplicate HivePress listings with a few clicks. You don’t have to open and delete every duplicate listings at a time because you can use WP Sheet Editor’s Bulk Edit tool.
In this example, we will delete the duplicates we created in the previous section, which have the same title. So let’s select these values in order to remove all the duplicate listings and keep one only:
- Select the rows that you want to update: Edit all the rows from my current search
- What field do you want to edit: Title
- Select type of edit: Remove duplicates
- Which duplicates do you want to delete: You can two options here:
- Delete the newest listings and keep the oldest listing
- Delete the oldest listings and keep the newest listing
- Click on Execute Now.
This is how you can duplicate HivePress listings and/or bulk delete duplicate listings.
