This is a complete guide to advanced search of LearnPress courses. Here, you’ll learn how to use any field as a search parameter and display all the search results in an intuitive spreadsheet.
This is something LearnPress doesn’t allow you to do. If you want to edit all the courses with a six-week duration, you have to open them one by one and then apply the changes. However, here you’ll see how to select some simple values and find your courses instantly.
We’ll use the WP Sheet Editor plugin.

This extension adds full compatibility between WP Sheet Editor and LearnPress.
Once you’ve installed and activated the plugin, follow these simple steps to learn how to set up the LearnPress courses spreadsheet, and do advanced search.
1- Set up the LearnPress courses spreadsheet
- Go to WP Sheet Editor > Setup Spreadsheet.
- Select the Courses post type.
- Click Save to go on.
Select the columns to display in the spreadsheet.
- In Enabled, you’ll see all the columns to be displayed in the spreadsheet.
- In Disabled, you’ll see the columns that will be hidden in the spreadsheet.
- Scroll down and click Save to generate the spreadsheet.
You’ll see the spreadsheet containing all your LearnPress courses. Each row is a course and each column is a field.
2- Open the Search tool with one click
This plugin contains a Search tool that allows you to use any of your course fields as a search parameter.
Open it with one click on Search; it’s on the top toolbar.
3- Search for your LearnPress courses using different filters
In the following drop-down sections, we show you how to apply advanced filters to search for your LearnPress courses.
a) How to search for LearnPress courses by keyword
If you want to search for all courses containing a specific keyword in the title, you need to:
- Enter the desired word in Contains keyword.
- Click Run search to filter the courses.
After applying these search parameters, you’ll see all the courses containing the selected keyword in the title displayed in the spreadsheet.
b) How to search for LearnPress courses by category
If you have created several categories for your LearnPress courses, you can select one category and display all the courses containing it in the spreadsheet.
For this, you need to select the following values:
- Enter Course Categories: Enter the category here; for example, we want to find all courses within the “Free course” category.
- Click Run Search.
Once you do that, you’ll see all the courses within the selected category displayed in the spreadsheet.
c) How to search for LearnPress courses by the duration
If you want to search for all courses with an eight-week duration, select these values:
- Tick the Enable advanced filters checkbox.
- Field: Lp Duration
- Operator: =
- Value: 8
- Click Run Search.
After that, you’ll see all the courses with a duration of eight weeks displayed in the spreadsheet.
d) How to search for LearnPress courses by price
Let’s find all courses priced at $15.00. It’s really simple because you just have to select these values:
- Tick the Enable advanced filters checkbox.
- Field: Lp Price
- Operator: =
- Value: 15.00
- Click Run Search.
With these values, you’ll have filtered all the courses priced at $15.00, and they will be displayed in the spreadsheet.
e) How to search for LearnPress courses by passing grade
If you want to know which courses have a passing condition of 60 points, for example, select the following values:
- Tick the Enable advanced filters checkbox.
- Field: Passing Grade(%)
- Operator: =
- Value: 60
- Click Run Search.
After applying these search filters, you’ll see all the courses with the selected passing grade displayed in the spreadsheet.
f) How to search for LearnPress featured courses
To find all the courses that have the “Featured” option enabled, select the following values in the Search tool:
- Tick the Enable advanced filters checkbox.
- Field: Featured List
- Operator: =
- Value: Tick this checkbox.
- Click Run Search.
Then, you’ll see all the featured courses displayed in the spreadsheet.
g) How to search for LearnPress courses that require enroll
To find all the courses that require enrollment, you just need to select the following values in the Search tool.
- Tick the Enable advanced filters checkbox.
- Field: No Requirement Enroll
- Operator: =
- Value: Leave this checkbox empty.
- Click Run Search.
After applying these search values, you’ll see all the courses that don’t require enrollment displayed in the spreadsheet.
h) How to search LearnPress courses by the number of times they can be retaken
If you want to search for all the courses that can be retaken twice by the students, select the following values in the search tool.
- Tick the Enable advanced filters checkbox.
- Field: Re-take Course
- Operator: =
- Value: Enter the number of times users can retake this course. In this example, we’ll enter 2.
- Click Run Search.
After that, you’ll see all the courses that meet the selected search terms.
