Step 1. Open the WooCommerce subscriptions spreadsheet

In your WordPress dashboard, go to WP Sheet Editor > Edit WooCommerce Subscriptions. This will display all your subscriptions in a familiar spreadsheet format.

Step 2. Connect your site to Google Sheets

Once you sign up for the Google Sheets Sync service, you’ll receive a helper plugin. Install it to connect your WordPress site with Google Sheets and the required APIs.

Follow this guide to complete the setup.

Step 3. Open the Export tool

Click the Export button in the toolbar to open the export settings.

Step 4. Configure real-time sync

In the Export tool, select the following values to schedule your real-time sync:

  • What columns do you want to export? Select all or specific fields (e.g., Subscription ID, Customer email, Renewal date).
  • Which rows do you want to export? All the rows from my current search (you can also filter if needed).
  • What app will you use to edit this file? Google Sheets
  • Name of this export: You can add a name like “Subscriptions – Real time sync”
  • Tick the Run this in the future checkbox.
  • Select the Real time sync option.
  • Type of sync: We will select WordPress to Google Sheets in this example.
  • What column should be used as an identifier: We will use the “record_id” column (subscription ID).
  • Click Start new export to schedule and activate the real time sync of WooCommerce subscriptions data to Google Sheets.

After scheduling your real-time sync, you’ll see it displayed in the Scheduled exports panel. To open the Scheduled exports panel, go to Export > View scheduled exports.

Step 5. Open the synced Google Sheet

After the sync starts, you’ll see that the Name turns into a link to open the generated Google Sheet. You’ll also see that the Status is Waiting for WordPress changes to sync.

That means that the Google sheet will update in real time as subscriptions are created, renewed, or cancelled in WooCommerce. Any details that change on WordPress will be automatically synced to Google Sheets in real time.
