Sometimes you upload many products to your WooCommerce store and then get a message from your potential customers saying that some of your products can’t be purchased because they don’t have prices.
That’s a problem if your store has hundreds of products, and you realize that they were imported with missing information.
That’s why we’re going to show you how you can easily find all your products missing prices using the WP Sheet Editor plugin.
Install WP Sheet Editor
The first thing you need to do is to install WP sheet editor. This plugin helps you apply changes to thousands of products at once with just some clicks, something you can’t do with the normal WP editor.

Once you open the plugin, you’ll see a spreadsheet with all your products and their complete information for you to make changes easily.
Find products missing prices by keyword
If you want to know which of your products containing a specific attribute don’t have prices, then you need to use the “Search” tool. With this tool, you’ll have the opportunity to find products by filtering them in several ways. In this case, you need to filter them by keyword, so you need to open the Search tool by clicking it on the toolbar above the spreadsheet.
After opening the tool, you need to use these values to search for the products missing prices by keyword.
- Write the desired keyword in the Contains keyword field.
- Tick the Enable advanced filters checkbox
- Field key: _price
- Operator: =
- Value: Leave it EMPTY
- Click on Run search
Find products missing prices by category, attribute, tag
If you want to find all your products within the “Fashion” category, or products containing a specific attribute (Color, size, etc.) or tag, then you need to use the “Search” tool and set the necessary values.
Once you open the tool, you need to proceed to write the product category, attribute or tag in the Enter Tags field.
This same field works for these three ways of searching for your products.
- Write the desired category, attribute or tag in the Enter Tags field.
- Tick the Enable advanced filters checkbox
- Field key: _price
- Operator: =
- Value: Leave it EMPTY
- Click on Run search
Find downloadable products without prices
If you sell downloadable products like e-books, PDFs, etc., and you want to find all those downloadable products missing prices in your WooCommerce store, you need to open the Search tool by clicking it in the toolbar above the spreadsheet.
- Tick the Enable advanced filters checkbox
- Field key: Downloadable (_downloadable)
- Operator: =
- Value: Tick this checkbox.
- Click on Add new to add another filter
- Field key: _price
- Operator: =
- Value: Leave it EMPTY
- Click on Run search
