Iconic Attribute Swatches – Export and Import Attribute Fees

In a previous post, we showed you how to bulk edit attribute fees for the Iconic Attribute Swatches plugin in WooCommerce. In this tutorial, we show you how to export and import WooCommerce attribute fees using CSV files.

This is great if you want to download the attribute fees to a CSV file and edit them quickly with Excel or Google Sheets. Also, after applying the changes to your attribute fees, you can quickly import those changes to WooCommerce with a few clicks.

We will do all this easily using the WP Sheet Editor – WooCommerce Products plugin. It allows you to apply massive changes to hundreds of products, do advanced searches, and export or import new products and updates to existing products.

Follow these steps to export and import attribute fees:

1- Install the “WP Sheet Editor – WooCommerce Products” plugin

With WP Sheet Editor – WooCommerce Products, you can:

  • View and manage your WooCommerce products using an intuitive spreadsheet inside WordPress
  • Do advanced searches quickly
  • Bulk edit hundreds of products with a few clicks
  • Export WooCommerce products to a CSV file to edit them in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Import new products and updates using a CSV file

2- Install the “WP Sheet Editor – Iconic Attribute Swatches” extension

This extension is available for all the WP Sheet Editor – WooCommerce Products users. You can download it using the following button:

3- Open the WooCommerce products spreadsheet

Once you install and activate the plugin and the extension, go to WP Sheet Editor – WooCommerce Products.

4- Export WooCommerce attribute fees to a CSV file

Here’s how you can quickly export WooCommerce attribute fees to a CSV file:

Open the Export tool with one click.

Select the following values to export the WooCommerce attribute fees to a CSV file:

  • What columns do you want to export: You can select the following columns:
    • Name
    • Type
    • Regular Price
    • And all the Swatches Fee columns.
  • Tick the I understand it will export all the rows from my current search checkbox.
  • What app will you use to edit this file: Select the software you’ll use for better compatibility.
  • Click Start new export.

After that, a CSV file containing the products and attribute fees will be downloaded to your computer. This is how it looks in Google Sheets:

You can apply any changes to the attribute fees to import them to WooCommerce using WP Sheet Editor – WooCommerce Products.

5- Import WooCommerce attribute fees to WooCommerce

Once you have applied changes to your WooCommerce products in Excel or Google Sheets, you can easily import all these changes and update attribute fees.

Click Import.

Select the CSV file you’ll import into WooCommerce:

  • Source: CSV file from my computer
  • Click Choose File and select the file CSV you’ll upload.
  • Click Next.

Now you need to click Import all the columns to go on.

After that, configure the import by selecting these values:

  • Do you want to update or create items: Create new items and update existing items
  • CSV Field: record_id
  • WordPress Field: ID
  • Click Next.

Finally, you’ll see a preview of how the info will look imported in the spreadsheet. If everything is OK, click The preview is fine, start import.

After that, the products will be updated. The new attribute fees will be applied. This is how they will look in the spreadsheet.

Importing attribute fees is really simple with WP Sheet Editor!
