If you sell high-ticket items, custom services, or products that require a customized quote, you often need customers to contact you before making a purchase. In these scenarios, the default WooCommerce “Add to Cart” button is not helpful. Instead, you need to hide the price and replace the purchasing button with an “Inquire Us” link.
To achieve this, many store owners use the Remove Add to Cart WooCommerce plugin. However, configuring this plugin manually across a large catalog is a slow process. You would have to open each product individually, find the specific settings, change the button action, add your contact link, and save.
In this guide, you will learn how to bulk remove the add to cart button and enable the “Inquire Us” feature for hundreds of WooCommerce products at once using a spreadsheet interface.
We will use the WP Sheet Editor – WooCommerce Products Spreadsheet plugin to filter your catalog and apply the exact button text and links in bulk.

1. Open the WooCommerce Products Spreadsheet
Once you have both WP Sheet Editor and the Remove Add to Cart plugin installed and activated, navigate to WP Sheet Editor > Edit Products in your WordPress dashboard.
You will see all your WooCommerce products displayed in a grid format. This spreadsheet environment allows you to manage your entire catalog without opening individual product pages.

If you scroll to the right side of the spreadsheet, you will find the specific columns generated by the Remove Add to Cart plugin. WP Sheet Editor automatically detects these custom fields, allowing you to edit them directly.

Note for manual editing: If you only need to update a few products, you can edit these settings directly in the spreadsheet by selecting the cells, changing the values, and clicking the Save button. For large updates, continue to the bulk edit steps below.
2. Search for the Products You Want to Update
Before applying bulk changes, you need to filter your catalog. If you skip this step, you might accidentally replace the Add to Cart button on products that should remain purchasable.
Click on the Search tool located on the top toolbar.

The Search tool allows you to isolate products using various conditions:
- Contains Keyword: Find products based on specific words in their title.
- Enter Tags: This field acts as a taxonomy filter. You can enter categories, attributes, tags, or shipping classes here.
- Search on variations: Tick this if you need to specifically edit child variations instead of parent products.

For this example, we will search for products that contain the keyword “”Jeans”” in their title. Enter your search term and click Run search.

The spreadsheet will refresh to display only the products that match your criteria.

3. Bulk Edit the “Inquire Us” Settings
With your products filtered, click on the Bulk Edit tool to apply the button changes to the entire list at once.

You will need to run the Bulk Edit tool for three specific fields to fully configure the inquiry button. Follow the exact configurations below.
Option A: Bulk Enable the “Inquire Us” Option
This setting disables the standard Add to Cart action and replaces it with the inquiry functionality.
- Select the rows that you want to update: Edit all the rows from my current search
- What field do you want to edit: Wpiudacb Disable Add to Cart
- Select type of edit: Set value
- Replace existing value with this value: inquire_us
Click Execute Now.

Option B: Bulk Edit the “Inquire Us” Link
Now, you need to define where the button will take your customers (e.g., your contact page or a specific quote form). Open the Bulk Edit tool again.
- Select the rows that you want to update: Edit all the rows from my current search
- What field do you want to edit: Wpiudacb Inquire Us Link
- Select type of edit: Set value
- Replace existing value with this value: Enter the exact URL of your contact or quote form (e.g., https://yourstore.com/contact)
Click Execute Now.

Option C: Bulk Edit the “Inquire Us” Button Text
Finally, customize what the button actually says (e.g., “Request a Quote”, “Contact for Pricing”, or “Inquire Us”). Open the Bulk Edit tool one last time.
- Select the rows that you want to update: Edit all the rows from my current search
- What field do you want to edit: Wpiudacb Inquire Us Text
- Select type of edit: Set value
- Replace existing value with this value: Enter your preferred button text
Click Execute Now.

Reviewing Your Updates
Once you have completed these steps, your spreadsheet will reflect the updated information across all the filtered products.

Optional Action: If you are replacing the add to cart button, you likely want to hide the product price as well. You can follow our guide on How to Hide Prices for Entire Categories or Keywords to complete your catalog adjustment.
By using WP Sheet Editor, managing complex custom fields becomes a straightforward process. Instead of spending hours opening and saving individual products, you can restructure your purchasing flow in bulk, ensuring a seamless experience for your customers.
