In this post, we will show you how to import and export WooCommerce prices based on country. You may want to edit prices offline or hire a person who does not necessarily know how to use WordPress and import the settings of Prices Based on Country for WooCommerce.
To create the pricing zones, we will use the Price Based on Country for WooCommerce plugin. It allows you to set prices for different countries manually or automatically based on the exchange rate you set.
To export and import prices based on the country, we will use the WooCommerce Products Spreadsheet plugin.

After installing and activating the plugin, follow these simple steps to export and import country prices.
1- Open the products spreadsheet
Go to WP Sheet Editor > Edit Products.
You will see all your products displayed in the spreadsheet. Each row is a product and each column is a field of those products. The spreadsheet allows you to edit values in any cell and displays all fields, even fields created by other plugins.
We have created two pricing zones: One for North America and one for Central America.
Therefore, if you scroll to the right in the spreadsheet, you will see that it displays the fields sorted by the pricing zone.
These are the fields that the spreadsheet shows for every pricing zone:
- {Pricing Zone Title} Price
- {Pricing Zone Title} Price Method
- {Pricing Zone Title} Regular Price
- {Pricing Zone Title} Sale Price
- {Pricing Zone Title} Sale Price Dates
- {Pricing Zone Title} Sale Price Dates From
- {Pricing Zone Title} Sale Price Dates To
2- Export prices based on country to Excel or Google Sheets
To export all the country product prices to Excel, Google Sheets, or any CSV file editor, you need to follow some simple steps.
a) Click “Export” on the top toolbar.
This plugin allows you to quickly download a CSV with all your WooCommerce product information. A great thing is that you can select specific columns to include in the CSV. This allows you to prioritize columns for different purposes; for example, you can download the SEO columns, the basic product columns, or as in this case, the country prices columns.
b) Select the columns, app, and download the CSV
- What columns do you want to export: Select the columns you’ll export. In this case, let’s select the products’ ID, Title, and all the country price columns.
- I understand it will export all the rows from my current search: Tick this checkbox.
- What app will you use to edit this file? (optional): Select one of the available options.
- Name of this export (optional): You can save this export for future sessions.
- Click Start New Export to download the CSV file.
This is what the CSV file will look like with Excel. In this screenshot, we’ve already edited the prices and are ready to import them back into WordPress.
3- Import country prices from Excel
After applying changes to the country prices in Excel using the CSV file you downloaded, you can quickly import the changes into WordPress. Just follow a few simple steps:
a) Click “Import” on the top toolbar
b) Select the CSV file you’ll import
- Source: CSV file from my computer
- CSV file: Click Choose File and select the CSV from your computer.
- Click Next to go on.
c) Click “Import all the columns”
d) Select how you’ll import the info and match the IDs.
- Do you want to update or create items: Update existing items, ignore new items
- CSV Field: record_id
- WordPress Field: ID
- Click Next to go on.
e) Finally, you’ll see a preview of how the info will look imported.
If everything is OK, click The preview is fine, start import.
Once the import process is complete, you will see all the updated information in the spreadsheet.
That was really simple!
As you just saw, it is really easy to export and import prices based on country with WooCommerce Products Spreadsheet. You can work offline or assign this task to a person who doesn’t necessarily know how to use WordPress. Once you apply the changes, the import only takes a few clicks.
