WooCommerce – Search Images by Product Category or Attribute

You’ve got new shirt photos, and you need to change them quickly. Therefore, you need to find and delete all images associated to the Shirts category in WooCommerce. However, you know that’s going to take you some hours because you have thousands of photos of other products in your store.

That’s what happens when you try to manage your Media Library in WordPress without any help. You lose lots of hours because of the many files you have.

To open the plugin, you need to go to Sheet Editor > Edit Media.

Now just follow these simple steps.

1- Open the “Search” option to filter your images

The Search option is really powerful and helpful. You can make advanced searches in seconds, so you can save lots of hours. In this case, it’ll help you filter all images by product category or attribute.

It’s on the plugin’s toolbar. Just click on it.

2- Filter your images by product category or attribute

In order to filter all your images by product category or attribute, you just need to follow these simple steps.

a) Enter the product category or attribute in the Taxonomies in associated post

b) Tick the Enable advanced filters

c) Select these values to filter all your images.

Important. The spreadsheet displays all kinds of media files such as videos, images, zip files, etc. Therefore, you need to find the images only.

  • Field key: Format
  • Operator: CONTAINS
  • Value: image

d) Click on Run search. This will filter all your images by product category or attribute.

Done!
